Description

Buffalo Chicken Dip is a creamy, spicy appetizer perfect for game day, parties, or any gathering. Made with shredded chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, and ranch dressing, this dip is loaded with bold flavors and is always a crowd favorite.

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 1 lb)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 green onion (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  • Add the shredded chicken and ¾ cup of the shredded cheddar cheese to the mixture. Stir until everything is combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  • Garnish with green onions if desired, then serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers.

Notes

  • Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
  • For a slow cooker version, mix all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours.
