Description

Chicken Taco Mexican Pinwheels are a quick and easy Tex-Mex appetizer that combines shredded chicken, cheese, and spices rolled in soft tortillas. Perfect for parties, snacks, or as a light meal.

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
  • 5 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  • Prepare Chicken: Mix shredded chicken with taco seasoning.
  • Make the Filling: Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in seasoned chicken, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, olives, green onions, and cilantro.
  • Assemble: Spread the chicken mixture evenly over tortillas. Roll them tightly.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes.
  • Slice and Serve: Cut the rolls into 1-inch pinwheels and serve.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
